The Pursuit of Happiness
Principles from Karma Yoga to find happiness
We know one thing for sure: we want happiness. So we seek things like popularity, education, a job, a house, a car, money, and so many other things. We think they will lead to happiness. But they turn out to be a mirage. They are interesting and have their place in life, but they do not lead to happiness.
Fortunately, many great people found happiness, and left signposts for us. One such path to happiness is Karma Yoga, outlined in Vedanta. This book explores Karma Yoga and how we can live it easily, in our day-to-day lives. Presented in a fun, approachable way, and illustrated wonderfully, we hope it helps young people, and the grownups in their lives, along their Pursuit of Happiness!
Reviews
“In the near-overwhelming cacophony of noise in the 20s, this book is a rare vein of signal. It offers a common-sense template for leading a just, principled life… It is written for a YA audience, but even this old-adult (who grew up in India, to boot, with no particular spiritual/religious affinity), had moments of "oh that's what that Vedic principle was about". … There is something in this book for everyone. I can heartily recommend it!”

“The author has done a great job of simplifying a complex topic and aligning it with day-to-day life. … For children, there are interesting illustrations and for those analytical minds, there are scientific explanations. … There's something for everyone!”
